Testimonials from our happy customers
“West Ham United Foundation approached Enhance the UK to conduct an independent audit of our current activity. We have a new vision to be a truly inclusive organisation and we needed to understand where we were and what steps we needed to take going forward. The process from start to finish was incredibly professional and throughout the audit we were supported and most definitely challenged!
Jennie and Emily tackled us head on and made the whole team feel at ease in what could have potentially been an unsettling experience. The training they delivered has received very positive feedback and we are now looking working with them on next year’s action plan which we are very excited to get started.

I can honestly say that the training I attended with Jennie was the only time I have enjoyed “disability awareness training”. It was inspiring, informative, fun, interesting…. I could go on.
In fact I enjoyed it that much that I arranged for my team to attend a session too. What confirmed to me that it was brilliant was when two of my team actually thanked me for arranging it, I have to say that was a first! So thank you Jennie, James and Liz for educating us in your unique way.

James and Jennie are very inspiring and articulate people, and ran the session at the right pace, communicating issues to us in a way that helped us to understand them rather than being confrontational. I’ll be a lot more confident in assisting a disabled person in future, which for me made the workshop really worthwhile.

I had always been a bit nervous around people with disabilities, thinking i’m going to do or say the wrong thing. The disability training I attended really changed my perspective and gave me the confidence to approach and support people with disabilities without fear that I am going to offend someone.
The session was really informative, fun, insightful and it was a joy to be part of a refreshingly new style of training. Jennie and her team’s passion & commitment resonates through their training sessions and it was a privilege to attend.

At The Brain Charity, we recently took part in a Face-to-Face Disability Awareness Training session with Enhance the UK and it was incredibly valuable for our team. The session gave us a much better understanding of both visible and hidden disabilities, along with practical advice on how we can make our environment more inclusive for everyone.
Our trainer, Claire, was able to break down complex topics like reasonable adjustments, effective communication and the day-to-day challenges faced by people with disabilities. The session felt very relevant to our work and gave us real, actionable tools to put into practice.
We particularly appreciated how Claire created a relaxed and open space for discussion, allowing us to ask questions and share thoughts comfortably. It really made the learning experience feel personal and tailored to our needs.
Since the training, we feel better equipped to support our colleagues and clients in a meaningful way. We would highly recommend this course to any organisation looking to improve awareness and inclusivity in a practical, no-nonsense way.

Enhance The UK’s Neurodiversity Awareness Training, was fantastic. The session effectively highlighted the significance of understanding neurodiversity, ensuring that every participant, regardless of their prior knowledge, walked away with a richer insight into the topic.
Jennie provided attendees with a range of knowledge / tools, not only to better support neurodiverse individuals but also to deepen their self-awareness, empowering them to bring their best selves to their teams. The training was an enlightening experience for everyone involved.

Working with Enhance the UK has been incredibly rewarding. Their commitment to inclusivity and accessibility was evident from our first conversation. Claires collaborative approach ensures everyone’s voice is heard, significantly impacting our disability inclusion work. Their development of our e-learning and digital resources has greatly enhanced our training and capabilities.
The tools they developed are not only tailored specifically to our context but most importantly are informative and engaging, using interactive methods to ensure accessibility for all participants. The feedback from our teams has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the practical tips and strategies gained.
I would not hesitate to partner with Claire and the team in the future and would encourage others to reach out to them if you need support with disability awareness and inclusion.

The Disability Awareness training led by Jennie has been so valuable for our team. The session was informative and engaging, providing both a broad understanding of disability as well as tailored content that addressed how we can make our events more accessible.

CJ from Enhance the UK recently delivered a thought-provoking introduction to Neuro Diversity for the GBE-N Corporate Services team. We were challenged to think about how we can support colleagues who are Neuro Diverse and to look at how we recruit people into the organisation. Thanks to CJ’s professional and supportive style, everyone fully engaged, with what can be seen as a tricky subject and the feedback from the team has been very positive.

At Wonderland, we pride ourselves on being a people-first business, but last week’s disability awareness training from the brilliant team at Enhance the UK showed us just how much more we can and should do to create a truly inclusive environment for everyone.
The session was eye-opening, practical, and delivered with warmth and clarity. It challenged assumptions, gave us concrete ways to do better, and sparked some important internal conversations that are already leading to action. I can’t recommend this training enough. Every business, especially in our industry, needs it.

It has been a genuine pleasure to work with Enhance in providing Deaf Awareness and Introductions to BSL for Nurses working within our clinical services. The process of engaging with the teaching and admin teams at Enhance and organising was seamless.
Participants have commented on the enthusiasm and depth of knowledge shown by the teachers. There has been very positive feedback about the structuring of the sessions, participants found the combination of online and in person teaching beneficial and valued the provision of practice exercises for times between sessions.
I have already been asked about ongoing training in BSL, and we have plans to engage with the team at Enhance to consider next steps. Thank you all for providing such a great learning experience for our Nurses!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a half-day workshop on neurodiversity and disability with Enhance the UK for 16 of our employees. This followed a highly successful lunch & learn session they delivered last year, which left our staff eager to learn more.
The workshop was incredibly engaging and informative. Everyone gained a deeper understanding of the topics, thanks to the practical activities that brought the concepts to life. The facilitator was exceptional, answering all our questions and adapting the agenda to meet our specific needs. We walked away with numerous practical tips, and our HR team identified several actionable steps to implement. While some actions will take longer to achieve, there are many quick wins we can start working on immediately. We are hopeful to organise more sessions with Enhance the UK in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to better understand disability and neurodiversity and to foster a more supportive environment.

I was truly impressed by the disability awareness training session. The training was incredibly insightful, offering a perfect balance of powerful messages and lighter content. It provided much-needed clarity on how to navigate the diverse spectrum of disabilities and how to communicate effectively and respectfully.
The interactive activities were particularly memorable, giving us a deeper understanding of the perspectives of those with various disabilities.
Jennie, our trainer, was fantastic. Her engaging style, open-minded approach, personal stories, and hands-on activities really brought the learning to life. I especially appreciated her insights into the Deaf community, which enriched my understanding immensely.
This session was not just educational, but also empowering, reinforcing the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone. This training is essential for all people managers, helping us to better support disabled colleagues and improve our recruitment processes.

Claire was very positive and open in her approach which helped us to understand how being Deaf impacted on day to day activities and how we can change approaches in the workplace to remove barriers. The training was very well organised, insightful and engaging and all of our attendees enjoyed it.
We also took part in 6 virtual BSL lessons which took place over Zoom. In our group we had a range of BSL skills from complete beginners to those who were more advanced. Despite our range of skills, the sessions were very accommodating as Claire was available to offer advice and answer questions the group had. She catered to everyone’s abilities and interests whilst making sure everyone was on track with the lessons.
Both the deaf awareness course and BSL lessons were a brilliant opportunity to learn about deaf awareness and gain valuable skills in BSL.
